Sentencing Guidelines Worksheet Changes, 2010

In May 2010, the MSCCSP began distribution of version 1.6 of the Maryland Sentencing Guidelines Worksheet.
Effective May 1, 2010, the reference to “use” of a weapon in the offense score portion of the guidelines worksheet was changed to “presence”. This update reflects the MSCCSP position that offense score points shall be assigned when a weapon was present during the commission of a crime, even if the offender did not use the weapon.
