2024 Meetings

Additional Meeting Details
The May 7, 2024, and December 3, 2024, meetings will be held in-person at the Maryland Judicial Center. The July 9, 2024, and September 10, 2024, meetings will be held virtually. The virtual meetings will be livestreamed via the MSCCSP YouTube channel.

The MSCCSP invites public comment regarding criminal sentencing policy-related issues in Maryland at its annual public comments hearing to be held at 5:00 pm on December 3, 2024 at the Maryland Judicial Center.

*The December 3, 2024, business meeting will start immediately after the conclusion of the public comments hearing and may start prior to 6:30 pm if the public hearing does not require the entire allotted time.

The MSCCSP may need to schedule additional meetings on short notice when the General Assembly is in session (generally, mid-January through early April). If additional meetings are scheduled, the MSCCSP will publish prompt notice of the scheduled meeting on this webpage.

Public testimony may be presented at MSCCSP meetings, pending prior notification of intent sent to the Commission staff at msccsp@umd.edu at least three (3) days prior to the meeting and pending approval of the Commission chair.
